Creative Writing
These are free-flowing spontaneous writing sessions that are all about getting you writing, putting words on the page, without judgment or concerns about “is it good enough?” The goal in each session is to write and allow ideas to come to the surface - which they do: in often surprising and meaningful ways!
Adventures in Screenwriting
These are structured classes that are practical as well as analytical. We’ll look at scenes and sequences, beginnings and endings - and everything in between. I’ll set practical exercises to get the creative juices flowing and to pose particular screenwriting challenges, designed to significantly improve your craft.
Individual Consultations & Mentorship
Consultations
One-to-one consultations - invaluable if you need feedback on a particular script or story problem, to brainstorm ideas, or guidance on any aspect of your writing journey.
Consultations are all conducted via Zoom, and are in the strictest confidence.
Fee for 60 mins private consultation: £120.00/$150.00.
Scholarships are available.

Mentoring
If you’re creating a long-form project - writing a full length feature, or a TV series for example — it can be immensely beneficial to work with an experienced mentor, someone who understands the challenges of writing for the screen, the various stages of the process, as well as the pressures of deadlines, re-writes, readers’ notes etc.
But more than this: working with Chris over a period of time will deepen your connection to your own creative intuition, empowering you as a writer/filmmaker and considerably enriching your work.
These mentoring programmes can be for three months, six months or a year and include one or two hour-long consultations per month (your choice), written feedback and regular contact via email.
